GS restructuring group: worth it for long term?

Have an opportunity for GS' restructuring group. I am currently at the LevFin desk of another BB. I am attracted by both the GS name and the Group itself, but I have heard mixed things about it, in terms of quality of work, etc. (although I understand the current CEO considers the group one of its growth potentials?)

I appreciate that I could use this as a stepping stone or a stronger RX bank, but I'd rather avoid joining a new bank only for a short period of time. I am not really interested in buy-side exit opps.

Appreciate there were some threads on this in the past but couldn't find anything too recent so any up-to-date feedback would be great.
