Have you noticed how many people on this board have been "offered" from UBS LA?

Seriously, though. It seems that everyone and their grandmother is choosing between UBS LA and somehting else. You would think that just that office takes 20+ interns

Dude, I had three offers from them a couple of years back. I just couldn't stop bragging about it.

I have noticed... it's odd.

Oh I agree about the bragging. i had 2 and I was bragging as well. It is just that it seems that UBS LA is too often one of the vailable options and it doesn't seem right. Yet, why would people brag about offers they don't have on an anonymous message board?

UBS LA said that they would make me MD straight out of undergrad, and pay me like a zillion dollars!!! I was a little shocked as I only have a 2.7 gpa, and have only interned at Burger King for 3 months in NYC.

I am undecided, as Steve Schwarzmann has offered to pass on Blackstone to me in a couple of years when he retires.

Can anyone tell me what exit opportunities are like from both these firms? Thanks

People know UBS / CS LA are good but how good? Comparisons are the best way to figure it out.

Also, they take somewhere between 8 - 10 interns a year.
