Healthcare public finance at BB or boutique investment bank?
I have a full time offer from a BB in the healthcare group for public finance, as well as an offer from a small boutique investment bank (not in NY). If my goal is to go into traditional IB at a Bulge Bracket, and ultimately PE, which option should I take?
I've heard that healthcare in public finance is very similar to healthcare investment banking, and it is at a bulge bracket where I will get a lot of exposure. Is it perhaps possible to go straight into PE recruiting?
On the other hand, at the small boutique IB I will possibly get more deal experience.
