Help a fellow monkey out - what are some worthwhile electives?

Experienced Monkeys,

I am a finance/econ double major at a non-target. I have a few spare electives to take, so what are some good electives that would help me out in a career of S&T/IB? What electives do you wish you would have taken in college? Do they even matter at all or should i just take How To Take a Shit 101 for an easy A?

Thanks

  1. GPA booster
  2. Computer Science
  3. Mandarin or Arabic
  4. Public Speaking

In that order.

"For I am a sinner in the hands of an angry God. Bloody Mary full of vodka, blessed are you among cocktails. Pray for me now and at the hour of my death, which I hope is soon. Amen."

Left Handed MonkeyIf you're looking @ IB firms with little formal training I would recommend accounting classes

Alternatively, take bullshit classes to pump up the GPA, and invest $3K in the Becker CPA review course - gives you everything and more that you'll ever need to know about Accounting as a banker, and doesn't hurt your GPA.

eriginalA class that teaches critical thinking might be a good choice. I took a class called "Making my own choices" that really reduced my tendency to ask stupid questions.

That's hilarious, man. Golden. SB for you. Fuck those guys who like to get other, more experienced people's opinions. I'm sure you're gonna get real far in life.
