Help: Opinions On Cascadia Capital?

Prestige aside, does anyone know anything about Cascadia Capital? How does the culture, hours and career progression look like? I've heard that it's a relatively chill culture, weekends are mostly free, and not too heavy hours. Seems like they got great reviews on Glassdoor as well and are growing fast so just wanted to confirm.

if you've worked there full time, how was your experience?

Good LMM deal flow, but has a Headwaters type business model (hang a shingle, operate somewhat eat what you kill). I cannot imagine the culture is that strong, particularly outside of HQ because of that element. There's been a bit of turnover at the MD level in recent years, aside from the additions. Definitely stronger in certain verticals (e.g., food/bev/ag) than others. There's an MD outside of HQ that was a highly questionable addition. He's been fired from like three places already.

What would you say is the best group there and do you see the bank becoming a major player within the next few years? Heard they're expanding super fast

No idea if they staff by vertical, but Food, Bev and Ag and Technology (they're in a great spot for that) seem to be the strongest groups. They're growing, but still not doing MM type deals. I'd say they'll likely end up more in the BGL, Stout, Citizens grouping.

There’s a guy on Tiktok named Jblitzz that works there actually. I’m sure he’d be pretty open to answering questions or you could just go through his videos and get a feel.
