Help/AMA

2021 grad from non target B.Sc Economics major. One year into S&T FICC full time trading mortgage, agency, cd, and anything taxable. I trade and communicate with the street everyday as I've picked up the skills and responsibilities quick enough to the point where the entire desk trusts me and listens to my market opinions. My trading team deserves credit for allowing me the ability to grow as much as I have thus far. I work at a non BB regional firm with solid upside potential to absorb multiple product responsibility as a generalist. That's all I can say while staying discrete.Am I in trouble regarding automation in these sectors of the bond market? I've heard mortgage and loans trading/structuring is a great spot to be in given it's a highly sought after skill… although I can't help but think that my career might be a bit shaky given the software development in the bond market.I have the ability to scan and articulate the macro environment extremely well for my age. I have strong internship experience in markets and worked in consulting out of college for a brief stint before pivoting to my current seat at the desk.Should I try to pivot to a levfin (IB) or structured product (S&T) group at a larger bank?Should I get my MBA and network my way into any M&A group I can get an offer from?Should I move to a larger bank where I experience primary desk underwriting of structured products? In the future I think Id enjoy experiencing both PE deals and hedge fund investments in distressed/high potential markets. Both of these seem to include understanding leverage/mortgage structure in addition to micro financial analysis on different types of companies. Aka cash flow modeling (which I don't do now except for bonds)Ask me anything (I'll give as much color as possible) and lets make a thread out of this. Thank you in advanced.Thank you in advanced
