High School Senior Looking to Start Prepping for IB Recruiting – Technicals, Behavioral, and Resources Advice Needed

Hey everyone!

I’m a high school senior aiming to get a head start on preparing for investment banking recruiting. I know it’s a highly competitive process, and I want to make sure I’m as prepared as possible when it’s time to apply for clubs during my first year and internships later on.

I’ve heard that WSO, BIWS, and the Rosenbaum & Pearl book are great resources for learning financial modeling, valuation, and the technicals needed for interviews, but I wanted to get feedback from those who’ve used them. Are these solid choices, or would you recommend something else, especially for someone at my stage who’s learning from scratch? Also, any advice on how to approach behavioral prep and build industry knowledge early on would be really helpful. I want to make sure I’m focusing on the right things and not wasting time on the wrong stuff.

Thank you in advance for any advice or feedback!
