Higher position vs less reputable bank

I have an offer from a more reputable bank for an analyst position and an offer from a fairly small and less well known M&A advisory firm for a senior associate position with almost 100% of time spent on deal making.

I’d like to start at the senior associate level but am concerned that future firms won’t take me seriously if I come from a much smaller shop. Any thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Hey некто, I swear if I had a silver banana for every lonely thread I posted too I'd be richer than @compbanker ...
