Career Resources
Two personal friends struck out on recruiting within (any) finance related industry. One is considering another degree to stay in the country. Although, with the pending changes to OPT it's questionable whether this is a smart move. His social media/profiles are clean and he doesn't have a criminal record and was never arrested. He should be alright to stay.
The other dude is probably leaving to Bay St., although that's no easy job market either. He has family up there though who are willing to help.
this is purely anecdotal and not some insight into hiring in general.

I think they are shutting down OPT. That would be the last nail in the coffin - who would bother spending this amount of money and effort, just to leave after the degree? Nobody.
And it it's not like it was easy to get ahead beforehand.
There were rumors about a "path to citizenship" but nothing was given in writing, so we can only assume.
