Career Resources
Depends on the exact service and what exactly you are valuing at each firm.
For example, if one of them is corporate valuations (PPAs, stock compensation, etc.) and the other is portfolio valuations, it would be much better to work in the portfolio group where you value actual investment securities held by real investors rather than doing the (purely) theoretical accounting work.
Exits from valuation to IB are quite common, and they will be easier/harder based on your particular experience and how you position it. HL FAS will be much easier to explain as similar to banking in culture, hours, responsibility, etc.
