Houston Apartment Short-term Housing for SA
It seems like there aren't many high-rises in downtown or midtown that lease out for the SA time period. Anyone have any input on how to live close to downtown / midtown for such a short-time period? Would really appreciate any advice

I am also an incoming intern in IB - Houston and I got an Airbnb in the midtown area for like 1.5k/month. Airbnb seems like the cheapest option as many of the short-term leasing options were costing a bomb. Also, lemme know if you wanna connect! Would be happy to DM you.
I had a 2 BR, 10-week airbnb through a solid complex downtown before my SA stint got cancelled last summer. Definitely check out airbnb. I also stayed in midtown for a week-long boot camp 2 summers ago and the commute to the TPH office downtown was cake.
do you happen to remember how much your downtown stay was and what part of downtown you were at?
We were scheduled to pay around $8,300 total ($4,150 per person) for 10.5 weeks at a complex called Eighteen25. Leased through "Stay Alfred"
Did you intend on walking to the office(if things were in person) or drive?
Either would have worked. It would have been a sub 5 minute drive or a sweaty 15-20 minute walk. Houston also has a solid tunnel system.
I mean you could walk from Eighteen25, but June in Houston isn't exactly a fun time- you'll need a car for general purposes (groceries, restaurants, etc), to be honest. Houston isn't really a walkable city.
