How do I know which IB group is for me?

Ill be interning at a MM that doesnt have to much presence in the US. The internship is generalist, in the sense that we do placement before the internship starts and we intern in the group we place in for the entire summer. For full time return, we can do the placement process again.

My question is, how do i know which group is right for me? The bank has one group which is very well known, but they work the most and dont respond to me so placing there is looking impossible. I like M&A, healthcare, TMS, and ECM. The people are the nicest and friendliest in EXCm but the tech team is expanding hiring new MDs. Healthcare is very active right now too. And M&A you just cant go wrong.

How do i know which one will work for me best, ive had plenty of calls with all of them and i cant rank them with something that i consistently agree with. Should i go for culture or prestige? I can always re-place for full time but i dont want to hate my summer. Anyone been through the same thing? Any help?
