how do you value a...? Interview question

have an interview coming up for a bb and this question seems to trip me up a lot for some reason. received a question on this at an eb interview and needless to say i did not get the offer. Is there a typical format I'm supposed to be following to answer this or do I have to know the industry drivers for whatever that company is. for ex, "how do you value an airline company".

"intrinsically, you would do a dcf to get the cash flows of the airline company. typically an airline has low margins, and drivers include # of seats and # of miles. do the pv and terminal value blah blah. we could also do a comps analysis and look at comparable airliners and get a relative valuation."

is that a sufficient answer?
