How hard is it to make it to a small NYC boutique (10-50 people)?
From a school like Penn State non-NLF/IU Kelley non-IBW/Rutgers, how hard would it be to make it to an NYC boutique? I am not talking about the EB's, just normal boutiques.
Normal boutiques focus on networking more than any other bank.
You can break in from any background (any school) but the process is more unconventional and you need to know who to talk to get your resume in front of the recruiting analysts at those firms.
