2 to 3 years, depending on the bank. I know Gugg and Roths are closer to 3.
Depends on the bank. I know at BMO most people get promoted after 2 years. Some people have to stay on a 3rd year but at that point most people just leave.
BofA - 2 yrs. analyst, 3 yrs. (and 2nd half of CY as A2) associate
GS has a 2 year program but really fucks you over pay wise if you choose to stay on for the A2A promote (I.e, you are technically lower and make less $$$ than 1st year MBA associate hires) so nobody is still fucking staying
They pay 150k base for A1 now, not to mention the huge bonus
Nearly all banks are 2 years with a 2.5 year thing if you decide to go A2A
