It’s kind of always been a dream of mine to one day make it to that level in life where I’d meet the $250k minimum spend in one year to be invited to get the card.

Seems excessive. The average MD isn't making enough to justify 250k annual spend on a credit card...if an MD makes $1.5 million that's $750k post-tax. That's 33% of your annual salary (at minimum) on credit card bills
