How much networking is needed for a weak semi-target for IB?

I am am incoming sophomore at a weak semi-target. This summer I am interning at Morgan Stanley in the PWM department in NYC. On LinkedIN, I have found a decent amount of alumni across all BB’s and many boutiques. So far I have reached out to and talked to with around 15 of them. My question is how many people should I meet with to be safe for recruiting for SA 2021 at a weak semi-target with a 3.7 GPA. I assume recruiting will start around Jan-March next year?

DISCLAIMER: I realize I should not be networking with the sole reason of getting a job. I an treating these relationships as mentorships and I am actually learning a lot about the industry.

From your last few posts it looks like you go to Fordham - if so, being in NYC there's a higher onus on you to meet with alumni in person and have warm connections. Others at your school will be doing lots of in-person meetings, would encourage you to focus on that.

There's no "safe" number but having 2-3 people, especially seniors, very familiar with your story and pushing for you at each target firm would be an excellent goal.
