How much will this work experience help me?

Hey guys, had a question for you guys.

Im in Grade 11 and I got a summer job at a smallish PWM company (around 62 AUM) working under a family friend who works there as a wealth manager.

I'll for sure be doing low-level grunt work so I dont think the work itself would be very complicated or transferrable to IB which is my target after Uni.

I'm also taking the job because it pays slightly better than most low wage jobs that teenagers get but was wondering if getting this job will help at all later on. Does it show initiative to future employers or should I just not mention it?

Thanks

Dude you're not even a senior in high school and you're worried that your job isn't giving you transferable skills?

Odds are, nobody will care what you did in 11th grade... if an 11th grader can get the job, it probably isn't meaningful/reputable.

Go study or get laid.
