I go to a semi target in New York City. However, my hometown is pretty rural and doesn't have too many investment banks nearby. I know wealth management firms are a good stepping stone. Besides that what other internships would work? I'm looking to go into IB. Should I be looking at small insurance shops or look to work at a retail or commercial bank?
