How to get out of the waitlist after interviewing with American Express
I got a call from the HR about 3 business days after the superday and was told that I was on the waitlist. It's been a week now since the last call from HR. So I am wondering if there is any way to improve my candidacy? Is it appropriate to ask about my position on the waitlist?

Sure, you can ask for more insight. Basically just say that you're still excited about the position and are hoping to see where you might stand in the process.
