How to get started as a rising sophomore? (Target)

Hi WSO,

I'm a rising sophomore at Columbia. I'm pretty confused as to what I want to do with my life, but finance feels like a realistic shot for me (gpa>3.8+). I just want a decent life with challenging work, and my personal interest lies in the TMT sector. But in the midst of 2020 recruiting season, everything seems like a haze.

Where can I find a guidebook that can breakdown the different paths in finance? Obviously everyone around me is trying to get that 2020 GS SA role but I really want to know more about this field so that I don't sound so dumb when I try to network.

I really appreciate the help, WSO gods.
