How to go about this recruiting situation
I attended a high school with a very strong, tight-knit alumni base. I just came across an alumnus in their 50s who is the head of an industry group at a big and reputable bank. If I were able to get in contact with them, I think it could change the trajectory of my IB SA 2027 recruiting. Does anyone have any experience or opinion on the best way to capitalize on this situation? I realize that I don't really have anything to lose, and everything to gain. I just want input on the best way to network with someone who has a connection to a very senior person.
