How to handle end of summer HR meeting

As the end of the summer intern szn approaches, was wondering what the best course of action was to tell my current firm I’m not coming back next year. Accepted a different offer for next summer, and am not sure how to navigate the finer points of doing this. Obviously I plan to be diplomatic and appreciative of the opportunity and environment and investment in me, but if they push back or ask what firm should I answer? Any insight is welcomed. Thanks!

If you’ve already signed the paperwork best to let them know this or next week so they can start to look for someone to fill your spot for full time. Its normal for people to shuffle around the few weeks when internships end so letting them know in advance so they can start looking is the most considerate. Waiting until your last day or even after is the worst all they’ll already lose out on several candidates.

I haven't signed paperwork but I'm part of a rotational soph program, each of my first two rotations gave great feedback, my second rotation told me he told HR to give me a return offer. I'm expecting a return offer, haven't signed anything. This would be to come back for junior summer.
