How to keep up to date with the market?
Hi,
I am going to take the plunge and go for an MBA to transition into IB. In doing so I want to stay up to date with the market. I am starting to read and scour for deals articles on WSJ and seekingalpha. They give very limited information about the transactions, and only give very superficial reading material.
Are there any sources that I am overlooking that can give me detailed analyses of the recent deals happening? Or is that something one should research oneself?
Best
ExecSum is a good newsletter to have a daily listing of M&A deals.
I was actually surprised by the amount of deals they covered every morning.
If your school provides access to FactSet I would highly recommend that because it provides all the possible figures you would want to k ow about a certain deal ( enterprise value, equity value, premium, left lead advisors, etc)
Axios Pro Rata, Axios Markets are great
NYT Dealbook is good. If you have a student account to MergerMarket it'd be exactly what you're looking for.
