How to post a “Starting a new position” post on LinkedIn without the auto job-change post?
Hi all,
I’m about to start a new job and want to publish a LinkedIn “Starting a new position” post (where you need to choose a picture and write your own text).
When I add the role to my experience, LinkedIn also publishes a separate automatic job-change post, which I want to avoid.
What I’m trying to do:
-Share one custom post only (with my own text + image)
-Prevent LinkedIn from publishing the generic automatic job-change post
-Still have the role change show up under Catch up → Job changes. (And that should redirect people on my post)
What’s the best way to do this?
Thanks!

Thank you. So I just turn off notifications and then do the post?
