I’m currently a second-year student at Northeastern University, and I have a summer internship in tax at PwC. However, my ultimate goal is to transition into investment banking. What steps and resources would you recommend to help me make this career shift? As well is it possible for me to make this shift into IB?

2026 SA recruiting has already gone underway, if you just wanted to pursue IB, I would start making sure your resume is up to par and make sure your techs are sound. As a past Big 4 intern, I always knew I wanted to do IB, proactivity is key.
