How will COVID-19 affect healthcare investment banking?
After graduating I will be beginning my analyst role at a healthcare focused boutique in SF. I'm assuming the firms creating tests, providing hospital beds, ventilators, and telehealth will have plenty of work. Obviously deal flow will be drying up across almost all sectors with the imminent recession, but can anyone in the healthcare space provide insight on the industry right now? This may also be helpful to those who are industry-agnostic and beginning recruiting for SA roles.
Bump. In the exact same position and would like to know also
Analyst at a healthcare services focused bank. Most of our deals have been put on hold for the time being except for a few that are weeks away from close. I expect things to pick back up once everything with the virus is under control. Happy to answer any specific questions you might have.
