Still good in restructuring. For M&A, they do a lot of mm deals now. It’s a lot more quantity over quality. Not sure how Mizuho will change it up.
Would argue that they are more well-known in M&A than restructuring. Rarely ever come across them.
Heard that they do have traditional blue-chip M&A clients. Thing is that due to their size they can't compete with EVR/LAZ etc that can take on more M&A deal activity
Is it still considered an EB? Judging by the quality of entering analysts or MBA associates, looks like they still attract good people but not sure how they are valued nowadays
