I know UBS is not doing well in the US now but I assume they are still quite good in Asia? Any opinions? Also, does anyone know their conversion rate last year for ECM?

UBS is king of the hill in Asia, shoulder to shoulder with GS and MS. Though they've slipped a bit after Henry Cai brought a pack of bankers with him to DB. In any case, to answer your question, UBS is a very reputable name in Asia.
Great reputation in Asia but heard first-hand accounts that it's a sweatshop (as are most HK BB offices I guess...)
no idea about ECM specifically but UBS in HK generally has a strong reputation.
