I Fucking Hate Boomers

Things that suck about boomers:

  • Obsession with face-time due to Boomers themselves not knowing how to use technology and work efficiently; thus assume anyone leaving before midnight must be slacking off
  • Obsession with authority and ego. 10/10 boomers do not know when to shut the fuck up. The tech nerds who run the client company aren't impressed by you, this is their show not yours and your own team hates when you drone on in meetings. You are not a rockstar, do your job as efficiently as possible then shut the fuck up so we can all go back to our actual jobs (which aren't to listen to you all day)
  • Obsession with "How I used to do it..." and the fundamental inability and unwillingness to take small amounts of time to learn new, innovative ways of doing things that save time and effort for everybody.
  • Obsession with having the strongest opinion in any given situation, even if it's informed by absolutely nothing. Due, of course, to obsession with ego and authority.
  • Obsessive parental instincts; not getting the fuck out of the way for VP/Director level talent that knows the deal, client and industry much better.

By far the most useless group of people in the labor force today. Overpaid, under-efficient and a huge team ego-burden.

Counterargument: From the 1970s to present day, boomers paved the way for the technological revolution and new efficiencies that today's younger generations exploit, while simultaneously calling out boomers for it. Bill Gates, Steve Jobs, Jeff Bezos are boomers. How much more fucking retarded can gen Z get?

Boomers have amassed the greatest concentration of wealth in the history of the world; they've earned their victory lap and occasionally shitting on younger generations who have thus far accomplished a fraction of what they have.

Meanwhile......lazy-ass Gen Z'ers out here flexing their latest eXoTiC tRiP on the Gram, and adding so much value to the advancement of society through their 24/7 consumption of TikTok and Reddit.

Have some respect.

The silent generation paved the way.

Yep, and then they told the younger generations to fuck off. They had everything, and they fucked it up. They inherited a supercountry dominating both scientific and artistic fields and now China and the Talibans are making fun of us while the Secretary of Health is a tranny telling us that we should trust him. When you think about it those motherfuckers LBO'd our asses - they enjoyed insane levels of income growth in the post-war period until around the oil crisis, and when shit started to hit the fan they just removed the gold standard and started printing money and increasing national debt to unsustainable levels so they could enjoy low taxes and great benefits while leaving to younger generations the burden of paying back the debt, plus interest, plus tip.

The day of the pillow is coming, we gonna SMOTHER those mofos
