As the title says, does anyone know what coverage/product groups are included in Credit Suisse's CMA?
I have a placement day coming up, and I feel I may have made a mistake by signing an offer without really knowing what groups form part of CMA.
I had recruited for CS wanting to be placed in either their LevFin, Financial Sponsors Group or M&A as I have read they have the best exit opps.
Are they part of CMA?
Any and all help/insight is welcomed and appreciated.
Every coverage group should have equivalent support from product groups in M&A and Capital Markets (ECM and DCM). Not sure if CMA is generalist or coverage-specific though someone else will need to chime on that
CM&A is CS’s IBD. All the groups you mentioned (M&A, Sponsors, industry coverage) are all housed under this umbrella.
CM&A is the new name for what used to be IBCM for CS. It is their name for IBD so yes all the groups are under CM&A

Yup, they did. It’s IBCM again. CM&A lasted like a year lol.
