I just had my 5th interview - what do I do?
Hi,
I've been interviewing for a summer internship position at lower middle market IB over the past month and a half - had 5 interviews (zoom) that all went really well.
The process, however, seemed a little disorganized and I'm not sure what my next step should be.
I had an interview with an analyst, then 3 associates, then 2 MDs. But, someone in HR had set them all up as I was getting down the line and I didn't hear back from her after my last one - it was yesterday - but she usually contacted me sometime during the day.
Do I wait until they reach out, ping some of the associates again (maybe with a thankyou/ what can I expect)?
I don't want to be intrusive, but I also want to show my interest, would love to hear thoughts.
For summer 24 or 25?
24 - I started networking (basically grinding) in oct 23, luckily found that this firm does recruiting very late ^^
Send your thank you notes and sit tight. They may be making decisions or interviewing others. Follow up with HR at the 1 week point

How long has it been? Have you heard back from anywhere? Or are you simply waiting.
