IB ANALYST AND CLIENTS
Can an IB analyst bring in clients? What if the analyst is in the M&A division but knows someone wealthy and convinces them to let the analyst's bank manage their wealth, will the head of asset management allow/accept the analyst's client? If an analyst does/can bring in clients will he or she be able to reach positions such as VP or MD quicker? I read online the youngest MD ever was a 29 yo. My dream is to beat that. Hopefully!
