IB in South Florida

What opportunities are there in South Florida in regards to IB or just finance in general? I'd imagine PWM is the biggest, and I see a lot of boutiques in IB/PE but I guess you'd need deal experience at a larger bank to have a hook into one of them. I'm a junior at a non-target, and have been applying everywhere for a 2021 summer internship but ideally, I want to work in South Florida post-graduation. I don't have any deal experience but I've done a search-fund , and a private equity internship. Didn't get to work on financial modeling but helped organized deals together all that being said I was able to swing it on the resume which mattered most to me at the time.

Sorry to hijack, but can anyone comment on IB opportunities in bumfuck US? Specifically Alabama, Utah and Idaho. Thanks.
