IB Job Market 2020 vs 2021

With the coronavirus, would it be more (or less) difficult to break into IB as a SA in 2020 compared to 2021?

Currently thinking about a gap year but don’t know if competition might be even tougher next year, or still the same?

Would truly appreciate any insights.
