IB still doable? Direct Lending SA 2025 -> IB FT 2026?
Hi,
I'm currently a junior at a semi-target and will be a direct lending / private credit intern at an insurance company for summer 2025. I've always been interested in LevFin and DCM and was wondering if direct lending experience would be applicable to a full-time IB position in one of those groups or maybe a more credit-heavy coverage group.
I'd appreciate any advice or would love to hear if someone has had a similar trajectory.
