IB to Salesy Roles? Commercial/Corporate Banking (Hint: I enjoy sales)
Currently at a BB in NYC, I very much enjoy cold calling/doing sales (I did this as a side gig in college). I am thinking of transitioning to either Biz Dev at a Fortune 500, Commercial Banking, or maybe Investor Relations....but I don't want to take such a huge paycut.
Personally, I actually dislike modeling (shock)
As for Commercial Banking, I was wondering at what levels would I become an RM (currently a 3rd year IB analyst)...and how is comp looking forward (will want to stay in NYC).
Anyone got suggestions for other salesy roles?
