IB vs ER offers in London

Hi everyone. I'm having a difficulty making a final decision about the two offers I have. Did SA at a BB ER (one of GS/JPM/MS top teams), then O/C at a BB as well. Full-time in both cases would start in March.

Recruiting went exceptionally well given that I'm from a semi-target. Now for the decision - what do you think? For comp, IB is slightly higher (£5k) in base and would typically have double the bonus. However I've been too invested in security analysis and actually passed 2 levels of CFA.

For exit - both lead to top L/S HF in London, but ER is a heavy feeder into LO AM, which has been a dream for me, even if it's a weakling industry.

Appreciate any takes here.

I would take ER simply because banking in London doesn't offer anything ER doesn't, except PE. Like you said HFs and AMs take sell-side analysts. You'll have a better wlb to prepare for interviews, read case studies, network etc. Good luck.
