If you had to do it all over again....

I'm a sophomore at a target who is studying CS and finance, with some relevant experience in both. Tbh, I would say that I am interested in both fields equally, with maybe a slight preference towards IB/PE/VC.

As a result, I find it difficult to choose what I want to do after college. If you were in this position and could choose your career right now, what would you do?

I did SWE at a FAANG and did not like it. Dont get me wrong, IB isnt a ball of joy, but I actually do enjoy the industry and can see myself there long term. Both of them have lots of times when youre doing monotonous or boring work, especially at the junior level. Though, I think PM at a top tech firm would be pretty cool, and would consider doing that. Would definitely pick that over SWE. Not that many spots though.
