Overall the question is, if I had a financial advisor in wealth management with 10 years+ with the firm, or someone in S&T who has spent 15-20 years with the firm recommend me for IBD, what would be the weight of that?
Would it even matter in the grand scheme of getting interviews? What about a MD in IBD in a regional office recommending me for NYC? Would NYC recruiters hold any weight to that?
