In-Person Group Placement
To incoming SAs, do you expect the group placement process to be run in person or virtual this year? Obviously in the past it's been in person, but looking to see if other places have given word.

Wouldn’t be surprised if it stayed virtual.
Doubt any banks will have official word yet given uncertainty on variants, but my guess is this will be virtual for the foreseeable future. It's a huge expense to fly people out for something they have now done virtually several times
When are banks doing group placement? Wells Fargo wanted to do placement in person so they pushed it back about a month, but it was still virtual. All IB SAs got placed beginning of December.
Interesting seeing WF was pushing for in-person. My firm hasn't given a date for placement, but looking at previous years threads it looks like they do it around March.
Mine was virtual, although they initially wanted it in person.
