Incoming junior transfer at target, is IB possible?

Transferring to T-2 target (think Columbia, Duke, Cornell, Northwestern, etc) from a commuter school. I had close to a 4.0 GPA in STEM major, but being a recruited athlete was a major reason I got in (no internships, other extracurriculars). Due to the schools transfer rules, I likely won't be able to do the STEM major or anything similar, so now I'm looking into finance related options. Is it still possible to get into IB? I would normally graduate in May 2028, but school will be cheap, so I am open to doing another year to help get me on track with recruiting. Anything I should be doing or learning right now?

Take an extra semester or year of school. That makes you an incoming sophomore and right on time for recruiting/networking to kick off.

If you can get a part-time internship in finance during the semester, even better. I'd also reach out to all of the athletes in your sport you can find, or athletes from your school, they're more likely to help you
