Internal Lateral to IB?
Currently Analyst1 at a BB Private Bank (doing PWM... portfolio management). Graduated from one of the top Ivies this past May. Wasn't interested in IB until relatively recently, but am now trying to network pretty hard to get the internal lateral (firm has a 1-year mobility constraint; aiming for after). Is this something that can be pulled off? If so, what are some best practices (particularly around networking, HR, etc.)? Have put in many applications externally but haven't had a single interview.
