Internal Mobility at EB (PJT/MOE/EVR/GH)
Curious as to what internal mobility looks like at EBs. Specifically regarding transferring from non NYC group to NYC group. Will be interning this summer and contemplating either transfer before FT or after some time in FT.

It’s difficult, but possible. I had similar experience during an internship in a satellite office. You need to start networking with people in the NY office and basically find someone to recommend you to transfer. It’s a tough position though because at the end of the day you were recruited to the other city not NY

used to work at one of those banks in non NYC office and we let an intern transfer to NYC for full time because he was a stand out and seemed like he would not accept the return if it wasn't in NYC. Play your cards right and its possible, otherwise you can try after a year.
