Internship Procurement as Pivoting Professional

TL;DR: Young MBA Student looking to pivot from athletics/educational background into IB. Transferable skills. Help wanted in the hunt for IB summer analyst internships!

Formal/Full Version:

Hello,

I'm pursuing an MBA with two graduate certificates (similar to undergrad minors but for grad school, if you're unfamiliar) in finance and data analysis. I graduated Dec. '22 with my undergrad degree in exercise science and have spent the last 6 years as a strength and conditioning coach and educational administrator at a private catholic school. However, I want to pivot into IB and I know that I have the skills necessary. One caveat to my positivity is that I have no finance experience. I have interned for two non-finance firms, one in a managerial role and one in an analytics role. I'd like to think that my résumé looks solid in all other ways, and I believe an internship would help me hit the ground running. Seeing as I'm still only 23 I feel like I'm not too late to the game, but maybe I am?

If anybody on this forum has tips/ideas for someone who wants to pivot into IB and start with an internship, I'd gladly listen to any of them!

Thank you!
