Internships in IB with no experience

What are ways to build up your CV for IB in sophomore year  in order to be competitive for the recruiting process? I currently have no experience and am looking for internships.

I got an EB SA gig with no internship experience. I know a couple others too, and dont think it’s unusual because recruiting is early now. Outside of going to a good school and studying finance with a decent gpa, I was part of the investment group of my school and another business related club. Assuming the virus situation gets better, go to the information sessions at your school to meet some alum or reach out to any friends you have at the banks youre applying to to get some insight about each one. Before anyone asks, i’m a straight white male. I think a lot of people have trouble during recruiting because they’re just really weird/awkward or dont have a personality/interests, as you can tell from some WSO threads and comments lol

Yeah more background for me. I have a 3.74 GPA and am a Division 1 soccer player at a top 40 business school. But the thing going against me is literally no job experience whatsoever. Do you think I still could find a way into a boutique bank internship with no experience?
