Interview after Super Day

I recently had a super day with an investment bank for a full-time position where I interviewed with 6 bankers at varying levels of seniority. I really liked the people I interviewed with and thought the interviews went well. After the interviews, I was told that I would hear back by the end of this week and yesterday (Thursday), I received an email that said the bank would like me to schedule a phone interview with a VP in HR. What does this mean? I was surprised to learn that there would be another interview after the super day - is this a standard practice? What should I expect? I should also note that I haven't interviewed with anybody in HR yet throughout the process.

Thanks for your help.
