Interview with Founder Before Superday?

Probably not worth wasting time thinking about it, but just curious if anyone has had any similar experiences. I just got through 3 rounds with a boutique and was told that there would be a superday next, but I’ve been scheduled for an interview with the founder of the bank instead. Anyone know if this is gonna be a screening call, or is could this be the final round instead? Obviously will prepare for the superday anyway, but just curious.

wouldn't read too much into the title. three rounds in, it's still an interview until they tell you otherwise. asking the recruiter whether the superday is still planned is completely reasonable.

for prep, have a specific answer for why this boutique and be able to talk through one of their deals beyond repeating the press release. keep the technicals fresh too. founder doesn't automatically mean a casual chat or an offer call.
