Can we automate some IB work? An IB Operating System?

I’ve worked in banking and private equity and then moved into HealthTech. Other industries have workflow automation solutions but banking doesn’t. In healthcare, there are practice management tools to manage the workflows. In M&A and private placements, all deals include estimating valuation, finding buyers, creating marketing materials, soliciting bids, having management meetings, doing due diligence, and setting up escrows and wiring. Why isn’t there an Epic or Asana or similar for banking? Is this a good business idea or is there a reason no one has built it? I can see this as useful for any startup trying to raise capital anyway. There was so much manual work done in banking when I worked there and I don’t think people don’t need to work 80 hours a week if there was more automation in my opinion.

I imagine a platform could be created by Pitchbook or CapIq or would benefit from partnering with them.

One example is automatically pulling a buyer list from Pitchbook, creating a PDF/export that can be dropped into the appendix of bake-offs, then sending out NDAs to all potential buyers before sending over the CIM.
