Is HBS CORe worth it?

I am a freshman at a liberal arts college and am interested in investment or corporate banking. I want to be prepared for IB/CB recruiting next fall, but will only have had completed the freshman pre-reqs (macro and micro). Is it worth it to take the class? I wouldn't take it for credit, my school doesn't take this credit. It would be in preparation for fall and honestly just learning more about the finance world. But 8-15 hours a week for 10 weeks? That isn't insignificant. I'm willing to do the work, but maybe there are other options? Please advise.
